Stop all this nonsense and let Milli hill speak. Only women (female people) give birth. To remove this fact from our very existence is an insult to our reproductive labour.

Milli has broken no laws and crossed no ethical boundaries. She is an expert in her field and other midwives deserve to hear her as a keynote.

I would live to have had Milli around when I had my 2 sons 30 plus years ago. And absolutely agree that women's biology is the determining factor of their sex. Solidarity to Milli for extraordinary work centred on women's functions & experiences.

"Women are born, not worn" -- the first time I saw this phrase, it spoke deeply to me after a lifetime of having my biology neglected, dismissed and contorted in the Canadian health system. Womanhood is not just something I wear differently than how a man wears human biology. It's part of who I am, and ignoring that normalizes medical trauma for women. We need voices who are willing to speak about the biology of womanhood, what to expect within our own bodies, and how to advocate for ourselves. A surgically imitative body is a minority case, and has different medical and health considerations. Erasing the main category of womanhood to accommodate a particular special case is just senseless.

Anyone who’s actually read what Milli has written and who has even a smallest amount of capacity for critical thinking cannot possibly come to the conclusion that she is transphobic. Alleging transphobia without any supporting evidence whatsoever is lazy and ridiculous. The term ‘hate speech’ has a specific meaning and using it in this context dilutes its power for those times when it’s actually warranted.

Milli knows her birth work, you'd be fools to stop her coming just because the woke brigade have lost their marbles
