We don't know all the details which is interesting because are children are involved...in which it would be nice to know why? How come? Or was this something that has been addressed before and not fixed? Has he been given all tools and resources necessary to succeed? We don't know, but as for our house we support Mr. Corbett ! Sometimes in life all kids need is a little love and support out side of the home and he would be one of those people!

Mr. Corrbit is at every game home or away he even drives to bosie to watch cheer and drill preform, and that comes out of his pocket not the school. Please let him stay.

Mr. Corbett is the sole reason I chose to come teach at OHS. When I interviewed I saw his passion for the school and his vision for the future. What I didn't realize at the time was just how much he cared for his students, faculty and community. There are so many things he does including personally greeting the students each day, being approachable and willing to learn, helping students with their work, handling discipline in an effective and respectful manner, and most of all being an advocate for his students and staff. His energy for our school is contagious and I fully support him.

Mike Corbett has been an excellent principal! Just go to one game and see his amazing interaction with the students and their families. He is fully invested in their welfare. Oakley High School is a public school, and as such, the public has the right to know what is going on. There shouldn't be a privacy issue. He is a public servant, and if he has truly done something wrong, then it should be known to the people so we can stand behind our board member's vote. We vote the school board members in to represent us. So represent us, the majority, and don't leave the majority in the dark about what is even going on. I have heard since Mr. Corbett started here as principal that a few disgruntled teachers and parents were going to do what they could to get him out. Please gather all the facts from every side and determine the true motive of his attackers before making a final decision.

I had first hand experience of working with Mr. Corbett. He was patient,kind and respectful. He also expected my best effort to be put forward. He tries very hard to do a good job and is willing to do whatever is asked of him. I appreciate Mike Corbett and feel he should remaim principle at OHS. He really does have the students best interest at heart.

I support Mike Corbett as Oakley Jr Sr High School. In 18 years of living in Oakley I have never seen a principal who has cared about the kids more than he has. We all have faults and could be better.

Mike Corbett should stay printable for Oakley High School he is very nice to students and fair he is try's to help everyone he can every one is attached to him here if u take him away ur taking the biggest hornet worker out of the hive and that's not good

I think that it would be a terrible waste to lose Mr. Corbett as our principal. If you haven't noticed, he genuinely cares about each and every one of us. He doesn't miss a game or activity. He cares about us as if we were his own kids. In my opinion, Mr. Corbett should stay.

I've never seen a principal who has supported and followed the students as much as he does. And let's not leave out his wife Jami. She's right there beside him with the same support. I for one. Will be supporting them.

Mike is a great guy by all accounts. Teachers love him, students love him and parents love him. Bullying doesn't just happen to children. We need to unite to stop unethical tactics practiced by the disgruntled few. I look forward to having Mike continue as principal for my son.
