Keep McIver's Ladies Baths Women & Children Only

Please Randwick Council, make sure this one and only ocean pool in Sydney stays for women only. DO NOT Be persuaded or pressured by this mob of transgender activists to allow them to use the pool. This is dis crimination against Women and children, all minority groups of women, needing a safe place to swim. In fact this pressure is abuse of women. STOP this take over. Please, I am concerned for all women listed on this petition. Thank you Ann Rayner.

Help women

I fully support this petition. Surely we can eke out some space for the women this establishment serves.

Women have a right to women only spaces!

There are plenty of other baths biological males can use without invading biological females' ONLY female-only baths. Women (adult human females) are legally allowed single-sex (NOT gender/gender identity) spaces away from males.

Wish I had known about this place when I lived in Sydney in 1970!

females have needs and rights. women's consent is required, otherwise it's abuse, rape and slavery.

Stop the war against women

There are only two semester. Let women have safe spaces

Just because a male person says he is a woman does not exclude him from being a predator of women and children. A wolf in Grandma's clothing. Women must have a place to gather and swim free from male gaze and male fantasies.

I can't believe we have to advocate to keep women's only spaces just that. Enabling the sharing for trans identifed males makes women extra vulnerable to predators. This is a huge backward step if permitted.

Cultural, Religious, Sexual Orientation, Biological Sex and Disability are all reasons why sex-based Women NEED to have their Civil/Human Rights upheld - particularly in places where they are vulnerable to the Male gaze and intrusion.

Women are legally allowed spaces away from men. Keep it so.

Female only spaces are almost non-existent, it is misogny that fuels destruction of the few spaces left for the female sex.

What a preposterous idea, women need safe places

Surely females can have one swimming area away from males especially when there are 34 others which males can access. Has fairness and decency toward women and children now disappeared in Australia? Do 51% of the population (females) have no say/rights? Are you now discriminating against women of different faiths/culture who cannot bathe with male-sexed people, pubertal girls and differently abled females. Aboriginal history of this area precludes male-sexed people and I’m disgusted by the notion to ignore/override their historical traditions. Female necessary sex-based rights are the human rights that women had to die for only a hundred years ago.

Women are born, and not worn!

Women have a right to gather together without males. Sex is immutable. Born male always male.
