No biological male should be allowed in women-only spaces. Regardless of how a man presents, the potential for male-pattern violence remains. Nor do predators, perverts and paedophiles carry overt identification. Women-only spaces protect women. Men don’t.

This is the only place Muslim and orthodox Jewish women can bathe in. McIver's is also frequented by disabled women, obese women, scarred women and women who've suffered from male violence. They now have nowhere to swim
Trans have hundreds of places to swim. For two days now transwomen have been going to McIver's and posting selfies on social media of their penises.
McIver's is a sacred birthing site' for Aboriginal people. Elders say that males who enter this site are desecrating it.
Please keep this pool for women and girls.

Women and Children need places where they are safe, this means NO MEN ALLOWED IN THE COOGEE. WOMEN’S BATHS. Persons with XY chromosomes are Male. Always will be. No one can change their sex. People can live their lives however they wish, dress how they wish without appropriating Women’s lives .

There are many women who suffer trauma from sexual assault or harassment. Male bodies can trigger a traumatic reaction.
While we are sympathetic to transwomen, the biological differences are irrefutable. When anyone with a penis can put on a bikini and make women feel unsafe, what protection is available to women who do not feel either physically or culturally safe in that situation?
Why cannot you have a special session for transwomen and others who choose to be there? Why must always the solution be at the expense of women?

These baths are the ONLY women-only swimming facilities in the entire country! Women don't want their precious space give over to men who are so tragically mentally ill as to imagine they are women. Women should not be forced to join in another person's delusion. Over 80% of so called "transwomen" have NO INTENTION of undergoing any form of physical alteration or transition. So they will be strutting about in front of women who really don't want to see their bulges.
Orthodox Jewish and Muslim women have few enough places of outdoor recreation open to them. Why should these men's selfish wants take precedence over the real needs of women?

Are women to not be allowed to have any single-sex spaces now? The Ladies' Baths is essential for all the reasons given in the petition. There are better facilities available at other local pools. Must be that the rank misogyny in this effort to deprive women and girls of a safe space not evident enough in mixed pools?

This pool should be kept for females only for the many reasons as stated in the petition with historical cultural values being given precedence. There are many pools that can be used by others, so this is not an access issue but a politically motivated stunt to deny women a single sex space where they can enjoy themselves and be free of men of all types.
