As a female Randwick council resident, thank you for protecting our women's space thus far. Women have the right to say #No and have boundaries.

Keep the pool for women only - sex not gender.

Many women require bodily privacy away from men for many reasons and this pool has always been their haven.

Women's spaces are hard won and it's not a gift that anyone can give away. We fought for our rights and we deserve safe spaces for our dignity and safety. We said NO to boundary violations. No is a complete sentence.

When a single sex space is converted into a space that is specific to one’s subjective and self declared identity, its function changes from being a place of refuge, to a place of identity validation.
