I have nothing against transgender women, but I see no harm in this pool continuing with it's current policy. Women NEED to have some spaces that are only for women. It's only fair.

Women need their own private spaces and deserve access to the ocean and to swimming without men present: regardless of any cosmetic surgeries, drug alterations, or outfits these men wear. It is violating women’s rights to privacy and religious rights of women who cannot be around men in various states of undress required for swimming. Please respect us as a biological class of people who are harmed and oppressed specifically because of our female biology.

Women and girls have legal SEX based rights to privacy, dignity and safety away from the male gaze. It’s why sex segregated spaces and provisions were fought hard for and won for women and girls in the first place. Research has show that transgender identifying males violently and sexually offend at a higher rate than men. Not all transgender identifying males or men are predatory, but there’s no way of knowing which ones are safe to be around, particularly in enclosed spaces where we are in a state of undress or asleep. This is why women of the past fought hard to win sex segregated spaces for us; so that we could minimise the risk to our privacy, dignity and safety away from the male gaze and from those predatory males/men who would do us harm or who are voyeurs and who wish to cause discomfort to women and girls by invading their privacy. Until all predatory transgender identifying males come wearing a warning label to signal to women and girls that they’re a danger to them, women and girls must be afforded SEX segregated spaces and provisions that they can gate keep to keep all males/men out.
Let women and girls keep their female only swimming pond. The transgender identifying males are free to swim anywhere else they want, whereas the Muslim and Jewish women, the victims of rape, domestic/sex abuse and all those women who are/were undergoing cancer treatment NEED this pool. It’s their safe haven and legally there is no reason why transgender identifying males can’t be excluded from swimming there.
