Women and children should always have a safe space to themselves

Just saying.... there is another beautiful pool with even better amenities at Wylies Baths within a 1 Minute Walk of this pool that is open to everyone. Then there is the fabulous Coogee Beach, and ocean baths, also 1 minute walk in the other direction open to everyone. I have absolutely no gender issues at all. I totally believe and support in equality for everyone. This pool historically was and is for women and their children, maybe there are some in our community who need this - it is not for me to judge either way, but given there are other options so close by - does it really matter, don't we have more important things to worry about?

Am currently on my 20+ 30 day ban for speaking up for women so I doubt my signature will go through. But I will still try.

Biological women have the right to their own spaces, away from males (regardless of how the males identify). It is important for many religious women to have space away from males; to ignore that is to deny women's freedom of religious observance.

This pool is open to women, girls, and boys under the age of 13. Trans-identified males are welcome only after sex reassignment surgery, which seems eminently reasonable for a female-only space.

I think it is disgusting to even think about changing them from how they already are. Women DON‘T want to share our bathrooms with men!

Women are entitled to their own spaces, and our rights to keep them should be protected.

Womens spaces are for women not men!

No man is a woman. Allowing men in is permitting possible perverts and paedophiles into women's space and telling them there is nothing they can do about it. I've seen comments by these men actually saying what they will do.

Sex segregated spaces are essential. Please do not bend to a loud and violent minority.

The baths are abiding by the law. Attempting to bully them is unacceptable.

Please let us keep something for ourselves.

Men, however they identify, have everywhere else to swim, including spaces that are exclusively for men. Keep some spaces exclusively for women.

Woman= adult human female :)

Please keep this bathing pool exclusively for females & BIOLOGICAL females at that !! Not open to males dreaming of being female. This is NOT RIGHT . There are PLENTY of pools mixed for males & females to swim in . Leave the women ALONE.

Let women - Jewish women, Muslim women, straight women, gay women, have one space that is theirs alone. Make a transwomen pool. Stop being so damn pushy and patriarchal. I have been to this pool and it is a very special place in a world that is often dangerous to biological women. Stop putting your own male-pattern sense of entitlement over our right to privacy away from penises. And yes we do care what's in your pants. It has been used to rape women more than once. That's not weird, it's sensible. Go away.
