Women and children need safe spaces too. We are deserving of that dignity and safety.

This space has been a female only pool for centuries. It's history is that of an Indigenous site alotted historically for exclusively women and it should remain as such to honour the Indigenous people and women as welcome and important people worthy of respect in society. As there are many other pools where males are welcome, maintaining this one as women and children only does not raise an issue of access, and in fact expands access for women and children who would not otherwise use mixed sex facilities due to personal beliefs, religious reasons, or health concerns.

When biological males, of any identity, have so many places to swim where they feel safe, why do we seek to take that right away from females? Who benefits? Certainly not women.

When you say you've been letting "transexuals" in, you mean women who have done surgery ("trans men") right? What's the point in calling yourself female only if you let literal males ("trans women") in just because these men have had surgery? It's male entitlement through and through. Hopefully you ladies will win and let this one space be for women only!

Young girls, abused and disabled women are amongst the many women who use this as a safe haven. I seen no good reason to take that away

Please consider that allowing trans identified male people will have the effect of EXCLUDING women of various faiths who don’t intermingle with men. Stay strong ladies! You’ve got this!
