No male bodied person needs access to a space designated for women and girls. That any want to force the issue here at best screams patriarchal entitlement and at worst is abusive and misogynistic and could actually be dangerous.

Why can't we have a female-only space? We can't even have such a tiny pool to ourselves? Transgenders have their own spaces as well as shared spaces, so why can't others do the same?

When I was travelling in Australia this pool was an oasis of peace, safety & calm where I could swim free of the male gaze for just half an hour. It is a vital resource for women from other faiths & cultures & for women who've suffered male violence for whom sharing such spaces with males is impossible.

The Transgender angry cries are aggressive, they demand. Why? They want to gain access to make all women and children feel uncomfortable. Everything anyone does is “transphobic”. Women and children just want a safe space away from the eye of men. Can’t they stop the bullying?

Gender non-conforming individuals, no matter how they identify, are deserving of all human rights afforded to other human beings. BUT, this does not mean gender identity campaigners have the right to redefine the word "woman" so that men who subjectively self-identify as female, 85-90% of whom keep their male genitalia, should now be able to access SEX-segregated spaces where girls and women seek refuge from sexually predatory men.

Women and children shouldn't have to be concerned or worried about being exposed to biologically male people in a women's only space. As a parent to two daughters, I would be horrified and feel extremely uncomfortable if my kids were exposed to penises in what is supposed to be a female space.
