We have sex-segregated spaces for very good reasons, and those reasons are about SEX, not gender.
We have sex segregated toilets for privacy because SOME men are dangerous to females. Most men recognise this and don't take it personally - they don't make it about them.
However male-bodied people identify does not change their biological sex - they are male, and it follows that they should be excluded from female-only spaces.
Female only spaces are not anti-male and they are not 'transphobic' - they are pro-female - female being a sex class, not a gender, a feeling, or an idea.
There are many places to swim. Why would male-bodied people want to insinuate themselves where any proportion of women might feel uncomfortable? This seems quite narcissistic, and looks scarily like male entitlement and a kind of colonisation.
Of course transwomen should be respected and be free from abuse and discrimination. Of course. But that should not mean that women and girls be run roughshod over.
There is a conflict of interest here that needs to be mediated intelligently and fairly, however it has been reduced to a simplistic binary argument.
In having a useful conversation about this we need to begin with the truth - sex is not the same thing as gender. Transwomen are not women.
Do women and girls have the right to talk about themselves as a sex-class and negotiate their needs in society? I should certainly hope so.

Women need spaces where they can feel safe and secure away from male-born bodies. Please continue giving women the space they deserve. There are many places where men (regardless of how they ID) can swim. You are going directly against the wishes of all of the WOMEN who use your facility.

Keep the baths/pools for natural women and children only. Don't kowtow to the noisy minorities who expect all organisations to give in to the "squeaky wheel"!

People can't change sex and it is laughable to suggest that the desire to perform a gender role actually causes sex to change. Women can only participate in society when it is made safe for them to do so. All the evidence shows that mixed sex spaces are more dangerous for women and lead to lower uptake. This pool MUST remain sex-segregated unless Australia wants to send a message that it has officially regressed hundreds of years in terms of equality and inclusivity.

Trans women can swim anywhere, including adjacent pools, but many women who are prohibited from swimming if males are present and they will have nowhere where they can swim. This is wrong, and discriminated against women.

As a survivor of male violence on several occasions by trans claiming to be women- its IMPERATIVE these males are NOT entitled to encroach on one of the very few spaces for women- trans = dangerous.

Why not designate another of your pools for transwomen, seeing as there are so many of them who need it.....
