This is the only WOMANS pool left and is a safe haven for myself and child. Please do not allow men of any sort to enter. They have many other options where real woman only have one. Mcivers offers a place of peace and privacy for woman that can’t get this anywhere else. This place means so much to many please do not allow trans gender to enter as they will never be real woman despite who they identify as. Biology doesn’t lie.

Yet another women-only space usurped by transwomen. Why are women and girls expected to demonstrate unconditional compassion for trans people but never receive it in kind? Why can't trans activists accept that other people have the right to set boundaries which exclude trans-identifying men (I.e. adult human males) on the basis of their sex? Maintain the sex-based segregation on this pool and leave women and girls alone!

Being a woman is NOT a feeling.

Protect womens safe spaces.

Women need single sex spaces to relax, recharge and heal away from the male gaze (or worse). Sex cannot change, can we please stop pretending it does just because some men say it hurts their feelings to be kept out of female only spaces.

Women and girls of different ethnic backgrounds or those who just plain prefer a little private swim without being perved on. I feel very strongly that by giving in to the Trans Lobby, who, let's face it, are only doing this because they are misogynist. They have a deep contempt towards all things female.

Women need to protect vital women only spaces away from autogynephiles.

Women-born-women need and deserve their own space to feel safe and at peace. There are plenty of other mixed-sex spaces that everyone else can use. Men do not have the right to everything simply because they are male.

I'm disgusted and enraged at the erasure of women. Please stand up to misogynist bullies. Women have the right to dignity and privacy.

This pool needs to remain female only, they only put on the limitation that only fully transitioned males who had gender reassignment surgery could come in rather than any random man who claimed an identity.

Men will always be men! If I identify as disabled, will I get a government funded cleaner

It is important that women, for safety, privacy and dignity, have spaces which are only for women and girls.

Women are asking for such a small space. How can this not be honored?

Once again women are being thrown under the bus for a small group of biological males (they can identify however they like when it comes to gender). It feels like we're going back to pre-second wave feminism where we have to fight for basic rights.

Women-only spaces have been hard-won. Now they are under threat again. It's seems unbelievable that once again women are having to defend their right to women-only spaces. There are dozens of similar pools in Sydney open to everyone. It's provocative to insist that this single woman-only space abandon its 100-year-old policy.

Safe spaces for women must be based on sex not gender, for so many obvious reasons.

We stand with you

Have a pool for women only! Then you can have a pool for women and Transwomen only as well.

Please keep this space for biological women only. Trans women can use any of the other facilities, they don’t need to invade every single space we as women has fought hundreds of years to get, that’s pure misogyny. They can create their own spaces, just as we have done.

Let the women have the McIvers Ladies Baths. It has been there for over 150 years. Do not give into ridiculous militant pressure.
