Keep McIver's Ladies Baths Women & Children Only

Women need their safe spaces. Please do not give in to the bullies. Please take a stand and support women of all faiths and all experiences who need their safe spaces that are male free

The insistence on women giving up their hard won single sex spaces is misogyny, pure and simple. Women saying no is simply not acceptable to this ideology and nothing will ever be enough. Sex not gender.

For god’s sake! Thirty-four other pools are available, and the women who can only use this one are to be denied any chance to swim at all? You can’t think that’s right! Why do trans people never create anything for themselves, but only steal from women?

Men - use the other mixed sex pools and leave this one alone.

Women's safe spaces and hard-won rights should not be taken away or eroded.

There are 34 mixed sex pools in Sydney including one very close to McIver. It seems very strange that men feel the need to bully their way into the last female single sex pool in the area. Why? What do they gain (apart from an opportunity to show that women's needs mean nothing in Australian society). Coercive control is a sign of domestic abuse. Removing women's access to a purely female public space is coercive control being used on a societal scale. Women need private spaces away from men for reasons that are obvious to everyone. McIver’s Ladies Baths must continue to operate as a space only for women and children.

“Please don’t give in to the trans bullies. Muslim women rely on places like this. Trans identifying men can go everywhere; Muslim women cannot”. She was told, “Muslim women need to take the opportunity to learn that having the biological parts does not make you a man”.

You can’t identify into being a woman. It isn’t an identity.

It’s easy to see who has power over whom when men get their every wish, regardless of how they identify, and women have to give up their spaces, and even their words.

Please respect women's right to female only spaces. Allowing full bodies males who identify as women into a woman only space is not repeating the lived experience of indigenous people and people of particular religious persuasion.

Inclusion is becoming very exclusionary. Push back is needed.

Females have single sex spaces for a reason. Please continue to support those needs. People may identify in any way that makes them fulfilled. That does not mean they should be able to trample the rights of the other sex class . Women will lose their rights if you allow trans identified males into female spaces.

This is not too much to ask even of the most avaricious trans activists.

Woman is a biological reality, not a feeling in a man's head.

Supporting women who need/ choose their own spaces.

This misogynist assault on women's rights under the misnomer of "trans rights" disgusts me. The left have lost their minds, thanks to this madness I am politically homeless. Women are under attack, no longer allowed anything of our own. Liberal feminism is not feminism at all, but toothless and inoffensive subservience. Sick of this BS. Save the pool for BIOLOGICAL WOMEN ONLY.

Please let women have one space of their own. There are lots of places trans people can go without taking this space from women.

So-called inclusivity actually pushes out the very people it’s supposed to support. Where are women with strict religious beliefs supposed to go? Where are women who don’t want to expose themselves to male gaze supposed to go? Where are women who just want to feel safe in the exclusive company of other females supposed to go?

Please stay the course and give women this one place of privacy. Please stay strong
