Some female only spaces are necessary for any number of reasons. That should not be discounted just to validate some people's self identity.

There are 34 other pools which anyone can use. Allowing males to use McIver’s Ladies Baths is direct discrimination against women, particularly the groups listed in the petition - in particular it borders upon islamophobia and antisemitism in my opinion.

I'm a man but I feel very strongly about this. Women should be able to have places to call their own and, lest we forget, trans-women are men!

It is not "transphobic" nor "exclusionary" to have spaces for biological women and girls. No matter how much people say otherwise, you can NOT turn a male into a female. The respect for real women HAS to be kept sacrosanct. We NEED the boundaries of biology and language to be respected, otherwise everything becomes subjective and we have no reference point, no order with which to function as a species. Religious and indigenous women and girls, women and girls who have been traumatised by abuse, or who are not comfortable with men in such intimate proximity whilst barely dressed need a place to go. This is not debatable, it is their RIGHT and this pool has historical significance as just that: a place for females to gather. Men who want to be called women and do various things to "make it so" are STILL MEN and should have the innate respect for women and girls' boundaries. Please keep this space free of those people. They should NOT be women and girls' problem!

Keep the men out. This pool will close if the rights of the biological women are not protected. Humans cannot change their sex.

Women have so few spaces where we can feel it’s our space. It means so much to be able to just relax and feel like we’re not being assessed by men, or that we have to take a step back and allow them to take over.

Women have very few places they can be without men. For some such facilities are they only way they will be able to use them. Keep the tradition and honour women and girls services Randwick Council.

Please honour women in this decision. Have we been consulted? Are our concerns given serious consideration? There are women of Muslim faith who will not be able to use the pool. There are many women who have suffered trauma at the hands of men, and this protected space validates their needs for protection. I suspect that this is a campaign which is driven by political reasons. Trans people will probably use the pool in the short term, because it is a "win" for their need to be validated as women. In the long term, many women will not feel comfortable, nor able to swim there, regardless of the presence of the trans community. Genuine trans women are not necessarily served, nor aligned with Trans Activism. They are unfortunately caught up in the crossfire. There are many trans activists who are only interested in transgressing all boundaries. If the trans community were allies with women & women's rights, they would not intrude on our hard won rights or invade our sovereignty. This is the unfortunate situation. We must not give in to bullies, anywhere, anytime.

The rights of women to privacy and dignity must be observed. In all circumstances including single sex provisions for relaxation. Please keep this pool single sex

It's a very selfish position, that trans women want full access to the pool thus driving out other, equally if not more vulnerable, groups of biological women.
