This space should be kept a safe space for women only. Please don't inflict inhumane and unnecessary cruelty on women!

It is important that females have options to swim without people who are born male. Fundamental physiological differences exist between males and females and many females value female only spaces for privacy, safety and religious reasons. There are many unisex swimming facilities which trans people can use. Do not exclude females who need their own spaces.

Consideration MUST be given to women - their religion, their trauma, their dignity.. we must not let the idea of inclusion actually lead to exclusion for women.

Women ( especially from some religions) need female only ( no penis) spaces

There's no justification in allowing men access to any women-only spaces. We had a long fight to get them and will not now go quietly just because a man wants it.

Please keep the baths for biological females only. We deserve to have space to swim without worrying about the behaviour of some men (but behaviour that is only done by men to make places unsafe for women). Thank you.

People with penises don't need the few tiny spaces reserved for women. They have plenty of spaces to swim.

So many women will be unable or unwilling to continue to use a mixed sex pool, which is what it would be if male bodied people are given access.

There is nothing wrong with wanting one space for natal women. Why not designate another pool for this purpose if a need exists to provide women with a choice.

Unfortunately, the way these events have unfolded shows that reaching out a metaphorical hand in understanding and kindness (accepting fully transitioned men into the pool as honorary women) means that the hand is taken, savaged, eaten and spat out! And, demands made for the rest of the body to be consumed - how dare women want boundaries! Contrary to claims, the notion that ‘woman/girl’, means biological female, is NOT outdated. It is real (observable and measurable) and the understanding of most people. Identity does not override biology (otherwise there would be no ‘trans’) and women having a space away from males (in any shape or guise) is NOT unreasonable or bigoted. The lack of understanding, insight and empathy of the trans lobby is astounding! Having read this “To our community, students, and staff at UNSW — your gender identity needs no validation from anyone but yourself.” ( https://spectator.com.au/2021/01/no-penises-in-the-pool-please/ ), clearly isn’t, ’just for yourself’ as they are DEMANDING that women simply accept men who say they are women (the inane and meaningless trope ‘Transwomen are women’ – which actually means ‘men’-no actual woman needs to ‘trans’ to be a woman)! As Posie Parker says, they really must hate women and why on earth would we want them in our spaces! Let there be male only spaces, mixed-sex spaces, female only spaces, and why not trans spaces? But NO to men in women only space – the boundary MUST be maintained because otherwise they are going to be annihilated!

Women and girls have a right to privacy and dignity. Evidently male people need to be explicitly told to respect that right. This fact is exactly why women want spaces to ourselves.

There is a clear reason why these spaces should be based on sex. Not based on gender. Also, I'm guessing pre op transmen would be allowed, as their sex is female, so the accusations of transphobia are not correct either.

The existing policy is already inclusive in allowing male-to-female transitioners who have undergone modification to their bodies. Male-bodied people with penises cause women to STOP using these spaces (esp. where religious barriers, former sexual assualt, women with small children, etc). Those women disappear, no one even aware they have gone. It shrinks women's freedoms. Please safeguard this space. Non-op M-t-F trans people can use mixed-sex, they do not also require the ONLY female-only pool, so robbing women of this freedom.

This place is a sanctuary for women and children. It is not a place for men with or without their dicks and gonads.
