While people aren't showing up for jobs they were hired for, these men religiously came to work. These men made this place their home basically, I'm 21, and I still remember the huge impact these men had on this school. Keep them!!! Forever a Mathews tiger ❤️

I attended Mathews Elementary from 2000-2006 and loved the staff. I remember Mr. Cleo and Mr. Brown like it was yesterday. Such kind-hearted men.

I love anything that has to do with Mathews! My son attended last year for Pre-K and we miss it so much! Everyone was always so kind. Mr. Brown and Mr. Cleo always said good morning with a smile!

I used to go to Matthews as a kid, being graduated now I don't remember a lot about my teachers , but I do remember these two janitors being some of the nicest people around , if possible , I hope they can continue being janitors at my old school for as long as they wish to remain employed

Please keep Mr. Brown and Mr. Cleo. When I attended Matthews Elementary School (2001-2006), they were always there. When I had a bad day they would cheer me up, if I needed an ear to hear they would always listen, they told me funny jokes, and when I would wonder the halls they would tell me to get to class. They were apart of my everyday life and eventually became more like family. Please keep them at Matthews Elementary, because they have a major part in children learning and character.

I had the pleasure to work at Matthews some years ago and these two men are what has made Matthew a wonderful school. It would be a shame for the school board to take them away. A Terrible Shame....

This was my Elementry School as well as my maternal grandfather and my mother. This school has been in our family for generations. My daughter will be attending this school on next year.

Mr. Brown and Mr. Cleo are an essential part of the Mathews family! I attended school there 25 years ago and can't imagine the school without both of them!

There is more to consider than just money. I work in elementary, middle and high schools. Items stolen in middle and high...none in elementary.

I met these men many times while picking up grandkids. They were always kind & friends to everyone!
It's not just a job to them. They are ambassadors of Mathews school. It's not always about the bottom line.
