This underage drinking is dangerous and makes the job of the lifeguards beyond difficult. Saving a drowning victim is beyond difficult. Saving someone that has been drinking can be almost impossible.
Adolescent and adult alcohol use is involved in up to 70% of deaths associated with water recreation. 1 in 4 emergency department visits for non-fatal drowning incidents.

We need to have parents to step forward and take responsibility for their teen’s behavior on the beach. All it takes is one parent to stop their child from underage drinking and you will be surprise other parents will follow. Their your children and you need to become their parent!

It is of significant importance for all to have to abide by the rules and regulations put forth by the town of Marshfield. No one should be exempt. Our tax dollars need to be put to good use to ensure the health and safety standards at our beaches. After all, that is the major driver that Marshfield has going for it and why so many love to live and visit this town.

It is evident that the dunes at Burke's beach are being ruined and there is zero accountability for following the beach rules. All it will take is having police doing checkins and setting expectations. There also needs to be more trash cans.

Hi there can you help get more signatures? Share on FB or I can give you a sheet that I’m using for in person?

There was a syringe found on Marginal Street and by the bridge on Beach Street. I have a young child and this is not acceptable!

My main concern is the damage for the dunes - they need to reinstall the fences. The dunes are so delicate and without them we have no beach.

Very surprised on lack of law enforcement, with all of the news about all of the other beaches and the problems they are having. After this weekend I expect larger crowds of teenagers on green harbor all drinking and looking for trouble.
Good luck
Please help make the beach areas safe
Thank you !
