The whole reason our family bought the house we are in is so our children could go to this school. It’s a great community with even better people.

I actually live in Lexington on sawburg road but my children attend Marlboro just like I did so many years ago. They are both so upset that they could be going to a different school next year and losing so many friends. My daughter more so, she has been acting out at home and in class. I cant imagine what this may do to her delicate psyche and I cant imagine she is the only one. Keep the schools the way they are until a consolidations or other arrangement is made. Think about the children.

Do not do this to Marlington Schools. The community has spoken numerous times that they don't want one elementary school. Quit going to the voters every election until the bond issue passes. You were told no many times. Figure it out BOE, you're all grown adults acting like kids that aren't getting their way. Time to grow up or get out.

Kids need good education. That'll be lacking if you shut down the school. Please reconsider.

As of today an announcement was made that both schools would be a K-5 instead of splitting them up.

Before you spread your lies Lexington Elementary also has a cafeteria and a gymnasium as well. So please get your facts straight before pointing fingers

I think keeping all three schools as they are would be more beneficial than trying to consolidate three elementary schools into just two. I can only imagine that the kids would feel crammed bringing in more students with the same amount of classrooms. A better plan needs to be formed. (Snode St)

Keep Marlboro Open. If we can’t get a new school, at least keep this open until we can!

Marlboro is the only building of the 3 elementary schools to have both a cafeteria & a gymnasium. It is the newest of the 3 buildings. Makes no sense to close this down. Our community enjoys the sense of our children being close not miles away.

Closing Marlboro is a mistake, not to mention, making things super difficult for the families in Marlboro Township
