having the broadcast on through the day with the banter and market updates promotes a good community. taking a humorous or informative break is beneficial. not to say it is a make or break for traders to go elsewhere because TST offers a great trading program. music in the background for only $9.99 per month is a nominal expense so should be offered since traders can mute if desired. also it serves to satisfy traders that their connection is working. some educators could be offered later in the day when traders could focus more on them than on trading and allow for additional flexibility in scheduling. cutting back on the broadcast after traders got used to full day may have the adverse affect of their thinking that TST is lessening its offering. i know there are reasons for the hours reduction, but others might not understand why if the trading day is still ongoing that the broadcast is short. I believe this activity is a tax deduction under marketing and goodwill expenses; if so then it should be maintained.

I would like to add myself to the throng of people that enjoy the atmosphere Eddie and Viraj bring. They do a marvelous job and help make the day seem more like we are part of a team than individuals behind monitors in a basement/closet/office/lonely area.

As long as Eddie and Viraj are up for it, I'd love to have them fill out the day like they used to. The "old style" schedule was a big part of what makes TST the place to be. Most of us were left wondering why the change was implemented. Eddie is multi-talented, so I understand if his time is needed elsewhere in the company, but those of us in the Squawkradio room would love as much Eddie as we can get. :)

Ya, keep it open. Keeps the business alive, and validates to the new recruits to markets that this is a real thing not a sham that some fly by night business runs just to cop the subscriptions to a dingy video game called The DOM. It makes sense from a business and training perspective to me.
