Public art is what makes Atlanta such a great art destination. It is important to preserve art and to promote local artists. I think Marietta can benefit from keeping these murals up permanently. They enhance the historical structures of the city and increase value overall.

I believe the murals and all of the public art helps to breathe some life into the area. All of the public response that have seen has been nothing but positive.

Since the murals went up for M2R Trailfest, multiple people daily have mentioned how much they love these murals and how much good they have done for our city and tourism. It would be an absolute shame to see these simply painted over and destroyed. Art is different for everyone so each one of these murals is loved by different people for different reasons. Please support and encourage the arts in our city and help those outside of Marietta see what a cultural arts center our city is by extending the life of these murals.
