These murals are a beautiful and vibrant addition to the square that have attracted countless visitors to our community. They have brought life and brightness to previously unremarkable rear building facades. They have turned the ordinary into the extraordinary. It would be a devastating loss to see them removed when the community has only begun to enjoy them. Not only would I love to see the current murals stay, but I would strongly encourage the city to embrace the work of the Marietta Arts Council on an even deeper level. They are an asset to our community.
