I have been a resident of the area for over 25 years and really believe the addition of murals around Marietta Square adds so much to the city. They encourage people to walk on the side streets. The murals encourage conversation and bring so much joy.
I understand the Square has a rich history, but I believe it is important to be progressive and move forward. You need to create a welcoming, interesting environment and artwork is a great idea! The Square isn't just historical, it need to be current too.
