Dear fellow students,
We were devastated when we heard that LRC3 and other LRC's in Blackburn College were getting shutdown after half-term, the excuse we were given was that funding to run the LRC’s was low and the college wants to reduce the number of staff working at those LRC’s.
We as students require the LRC's to do our work especially for the IT students and Business students, by saying that we could use the Beacon Centre for our work isn’t good enough, it is necessary for us to use those machines to do our work on daily biases.
We the IT students need the LRC3 to achieve the grades we want, not only does the LRC help us do our work and progress but also the staff is supporting and helps the students with issues related to any IT or technical issues with accounts and personal inquiries regarding their cause or help they may need.
You the college, can’t ask us the students to walk to the Beacon Centre every time something is wrong with our account or even any other issues with requires somebody to fix it.
If you agree with the above, please sign this partition; help us raise awareness of how important the LRC’s are to us, the students.
