Let the music play

San Ann has grown into such an incredible destination. The noise restriction sends the wrong message to those wanting to visit our neck of the woods.

Some acoustic stuff would be nice on occasion. The way the place is set up, amplification is largely unnecessary, whether the performances are indoors or out. Just a thought.

The music at Local is tasteful and played at a level that does not interfere with the neighbourhood. Live music puts San Ann on the map and draws many people to local businesses. Keep music alive at Local.

The live music at Local Provision House is not at ALL bothersome to local homes and businesses. I take my family there many Sundays due to the great family atmosphere, and the live, CLEAN, low volume, laid back performances. My children are all under the age of 11 and it's not even close to loud (or we would not be there). People drive by with louder car stereos than the live band that is playing!!

What I don't understand is that the previous tenant on Friday nights would have bands and Pennsylvania Ave would be closed for the whole evening. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Must be the same minority folks that do not want a business in San Antonio that would have cars going in and out of a business, only wants business's that have employee's that come to work and do not use their car again until they get off work. Can not have a new business that has customers going in and out. My point no music no cars no people. I am speaking from personal experience.

Keep pushing forward! Local is a great family hang out. We enjoy the Blues on the patio on Sundays.

Keep the music live! How can a few whiners destroy a lovely sound? Complain about big roads and development and the cookie cutter stores going in that destroy the beauty of such a small town... 9 pm is very early... Should be at least 10 and Fridays and Saturdays...don't like it? Move a half mile out of town... Very quiet there... Except for the traffic and coyotes...

I've been visiting San Antonio for 25 years. I've always thought it was a charming town open to cultural experiences. I'm very disappointed that a minority of folks can prevent numerous visitors providing considerable income from coming into the community.

I think the Mayor needs to spend his efforts on enforcing the speed limits on Curly and Pennsylvania Ave
