We camp here all the time... PLEASE don't shut it down. It's a go to spot!

This area was purposely left for equestrians. We are just a bunch of friends that are responsible and quiet campers. Arcadia is one of the best forests for riding. Many times through out the years our club has cleaned and cleared fallen trees and branches in the horseman's area and on the trails. I don't understand why the camping area is in jeopardy at all. Our WGHA club always provides the proper permits and insurance required to be there at all our events...

This is the only designated area we horse people have!!! I and many others have been using this area for camping for over 20 yrs!!! Why are you doing this to us!!! It's not like we don't maintain it either!! Gee do u think it's because u want other organizations who can give the state more money??? This is so wrong on many levels!! This is the only area we have left to enjoy..PLEASE do not take it away from us!!!

It’s the only horse camp ground in the state where there are many many regular camping facilities for non horse people to camp. Maybe someone from the state should come camp with us one weekend to see how much fun we have with total respect for the land and maintaining it.

The horsemen have improved and maintained these facilities for years. This is the only site where you can camp with your horses and it should be kept is he kept as a horse camp.

People with the horses need this place for their own state of freedom and stop them going out of state use their monies here.

with so few areas dedicated to horses i feel this should remain horse camping only. lots of multi use forest in ct, ma, and ri.
it would definitely cut down on unforseen negative incounters

DEM has slowing been dismantling Beach Pond/ Arcadia Park, abrogating their mission. DEM is slowly talking it all away, no more swimming at Beach Pond, no more canoe camping on the Pawcatuck and now no more horse camping, next will be more trail restrictions.

It is important to preserve these areas. Rhode Islanders need to hold onto their outdoor recreational areas. This area is important to the entire community.
