I am saddened to hear this rumour about one of the best lecturers in the MRS department. A very passionate and down to earth man who showed he cared about the course and students he taught. I was always confident in approaching Steve for help and found that his content was always very applicable to practicing radiography in the real world and still use most of the knowledge and skills in my practice. It would be shame for future aspiring radiographers to miss out on what Steve has to offer.

Steve is by far the best lecturer at the uni. He knows how to relate to the students make the classes interesting and push his point across. Getting rid of him would be a big mistake

By far the most engaging and encouraging lecturer at USyd. After completing two degrees, I can confirm Steve is the most caring lecturer who goes out of their way to help you. He has give up his own time to benefit our learning with one-on-one sessions if needed. His work is practical and his teaching style is far more entertaining and engaging than many others. Radiography will not be the same without him and I am afraid future students will not benefit from this loss.

Steve's tutorials made radiography bearable enough to study and hang on when I was considering dropping the course. Hard pressed to find a more down-to-earth and approachable lecturer. Content is real-world applicable and has stayed with me for a long time now, which is much more than I can say for others. Always went above and beyond the call of duty. Uni should be utterly ashamed that a fine man risks losing his job in the name of political correctness. To the lecturers who proposed such nonsense, mind you that university is an ADULT learning environment.

Steve is the most passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated lecturer/tutor in the MRS department at USYD. He delivers material from a skilled and current clinical background and is focused on the quality of learning his students receive. We loved Steve.

Steve was a fantastic teacher. By far the most hands on and knowledgeable tutor I had whilst studying radiography. His teaching style was by far the best of any other lecturer or tutor I had at Sydney University.

Steve littlefair was the only reason I didn’t drop out of my radiography degree at USYD. I had completed two degrees prior at other institutions, and quickly learned the Usyd was the worst experience of them all - teaching, content and delivery-wise. Had it not been for Steve’s enthusiasm, content, and style of teaching, I would have happily left and decided on a different career path.

Steve has been a very passionate, knowledgeable and down to earth lecturer that truly made extra efforts into making students learning more fun and engaging. He is one of a kind. I have learnt a lot in his classes and within placements( past students- radiographers) all speak very highly of him. He definitely made learning fun and it would be a loss to future students + the MRS departmentand a change in the atmosphere( to more textbook and learning less fun I may say) in how radiography is taught within usyd. Steve is a legend and a truly an expert in this field.

This rumour is sadly true. A number of academics who at this point in time shall remain nameless have decided that Steve’s style of lecturing is too offensive for your young ears.
