Steve's teaching style is engaging, innovative, and unlike any other. His level of teaching is beyond expectations and he makes an effort to implement a teaching style that works and sets him apart from other lecturing staff. Not only does he teach the content, he goes to extents to make sure it is conveyed in an engaging way, and to me, that's an outstanding quality of a teaching staff.

Steve is the best lecturer employed by the uni. His teaching style paints him as a friend as well as tutor, while his teaching engages the entire class. Removing him would be a huge mistake.

Steve's level of passion, energy and commitment to teaching is reflected in how many students make a point of attending his lectures/tutorials. His content is relevant, engaging and memorable and has been incredibly useful out in the workplace. Letting him go for his teaching style that the students obviously well respond to will do no favours to the university or its students.

I make a point of attending Steve's lectures and classes as he makes it worth my while. Please don't inflict individuals dead on the inside reading off the lecture slides on us. We're adults paying to learn and Steve has repeatedly demonstrated a level of commitment and involvement in the lecture and tutorial materials that I have not seen from any other of the teaching staff at University of Sydney.

Steve was the best lecturer I’ve had at Usyd. So knowledgeable and passionate about radiography. It’ll be a real shame if USYD lets go of him.

Steve's classes were the best out of all. My time and interest at uni was motivated by his classes and his way of teaching which made it worthwhile. As a full time working radiographer, there are many tips and tricks taught by Steve that I still find useful to date.

Without doubt the best and most valuable teacher in radiography. I truly hope USYD keeps this brilliant man amongst its staff.
