It is indeed sad that Leah S. Golby's name will be left off the ballot. We as members of this Ward, need to do what we can to rectify any aggregious political missteps that conspired to make the political adjustment which caused her name to be out of consideration for reelection.

No contest!!!! Leah not only "talks the talk", she "walks the walk". She has been a great advocate for our neighborhood. I will be proud to write in in her name at the voting booth!!!!

I know of at least 1 person, who said Mr. Anane said he would bring a form he could sign so he could vote in advance, which must have been an absentee voter ballot. This resident's business is across the street from the polls and he is healthy and was in town day of voting.

I will write in Leah S. Golby on November 7. I know she has the best experience and motivation for the position. She has done a great job as Council Member for years. She demonstrates her concern for the residents with her outstanding City Council meeting attendance record, her informational meetings to explain the transfer of ownership and renovation process to the elder and disabled folks at Thurlow Terrace Apartments, her willingness to meet with individual residents to discuss their concerns, and her many community contributions outside of her role in city government. Leah helped maintain the future of 137 affordable housing units and improved biking and walking conditions in the city. She understands that we now need a viable plan for waste removal and has been actively participating in creating one. Leah incorporates resident concerns and environmental advocacy into her decisions. I trust Council Member Leah S. Golby to do a great job in the future.
I will not vote for a candidate who has been deceptive, disrespectful of privacy, disrespectful toward residents, violated the CAN-SPAM act, or who has targeted elders and disabled folks with excessive solicitation.

Leah is one of the most dedicated, responsive, caring public servants I've ever known. We need her on the Common Council for the 10th Ward!
