Even though I was not a part of the Latinx community, César welcomed me with open arms into all Latino student union activities as a mentor for the club at Highline.

As a former teacher on Kent School District I saw the impact Cesar made in the lives of my students. Her mentored them during our club meetings, spoke at our family nights about college and career readiness and served as a role model. He pushed the kids to strive for a better future through education. I know that several of my students chose to attend HCC because of his mentorship and because they knew they would continue to receive the necessary support at La Che. Cesar was willing to think outside the box and find ways to reach our Latino community.

I was a former student at HCC and I was in the first class Cesar taught on Latino studies. This was my first time learning about my culture in any school, not Pierce, or any other school offered a class like the one I took. I truly enjoyed going to this class because for me it was the very first time I was in class with other Hispanic students and learned how important our community is for the US. Even after I graduated I received information about jobs, scholarship opportunities and other cultural events. He is a GREAT asset to HCC. I stand behind Cesar 100%

Cesar and L@CHE have been helping me since I was a junior in high school. Having to start college without someone that connects to me seems terrifying. Keep Cesar!

I'm a student from Highline College since 2011. Cesar Angel has been the main contact and supportive to me during my academic achievements in college. Now, I'm pursuing to obtain my BAS in Youth Development where Mr. Angel has been a big asset of support and encouragement how important it's to continue with my goals and dreams as an immigrant in this country. Mr. Angel has been an inspiration for me to move forward to the next level of my educational career to continue with my Master degree as a great role model that if he can achieved in his professional career so I can do it too. Thanks

Cesar has been a huge part of our Latino groups at Pacific middle school. His leadership and guidance has made a great impact at our school and in our community. It would be a shame for Cesar to not continue his amazing work at Hcc and with the countless young students his message has reached.

My two years at Highline were most memorable because of Cesar and L@ Che. Cesar's unconditional support has had a great impact on me. He is a great advisor and understands the young latino community. Latinos need mentors and a place to go to like L@ Che!

Cesar has done so much for Highline, for the Latino community, and for Kentwood High School. He has sponsored and fostered KW's Latinos United Club for several years, and has always been there to advise and move it forward. He is an invaluable asset to Highline and the Latino community.

Cesar has been an advisor, mentor, friend, teacher, and a helping hand to the Latino community in Highline College. He has pushed us all to become greater people. Without his help and support I would have never made it this far. I know that he has helped many latin@ students see their potential and pushed them to their highest potential where they never expected to be. Thank you, Cesar! For all that you do for your Latino community.
