I was hurt at work and have been unable to work for a year now. Without the KYNECT program, people like me would be without health insurance.
My whole life, I have always paid my share of taxes, and have paid to be insured by my employer. In a very unfortunate situation such as mine, where you had no control over the matter, programs like KYNECT keep me from being without insurance. Please, Governor Bevin, keep the KYNECT program. You will be hurting the people that need it if you take it away. People like me won't have anything, when we have already lost our job and possibly more.
Do what is morally right. It is absurd to take something away that only helps people.
Not only does it affect me, but it disproportionately affects the middle class, who already carries most of the weight of this state, in a negative way. Dismantling the KYNECT program is NOT the answer to the issues that this state currently faces. You would only be hurting people's lives instead of helping, and representing the people of this state.

Mr. Bevin, I sincerely hope you will keep Kynect. While I've been lucky enough to have private insurance, I personally know individuals and families who would have lost so much without Kynect. These are people who are hard workers. Don't you think families deserve to have good health insurance?

You may have many options for your healthcare but people in Kentucky need an exchange keeping as many options open to us as we can get --do you really think insurance companies like Ky coop will be able to survive and offer their low rates if they have to compete on a national level only???

I have insurance through Kynect - (not Medicaid). I work for a small non-profit serving abused children that cannot afford to provide employee health insurance and my husband is self-employed. Kynect provides us with an efficient, viable avenue to purchase health insurance. Please do not spend the time and money that will be required to dismantle this eaten that works. Please do not strip hundreds of thousands people of their health insurance.

This has helped so many Kentuckians and has worked well. If you have always had health insurance of course you think it is unfair. If you have never been able to afford or get health insurance then this is a plus for you & your family.

Kentucky was a national leader in ACA success and it should not be overturned. Bevin should allow the good work that Beshear did for our Commonwealth to stand.
