I do not know why Mr. Gehring is being dismissed. I only know that he is the first Teacher that my grandson has actually related to in all of his years in school. The school has not sent anything home telling us why he is being dismissed. I think we have the right to know. If so many of our children feel so strong against his department, I think we need to know all the facts.

Kyle was not only a great teacher that so many of the kids looked up to, he showed these kids how to volunteer for your community. He & his students cleaned out flower beds at several places in South Fulton, they monitored the inflatables at last year's banana festival raising $600 for the FFA. He volunteered his time for this community & his students which is something you don't see out of most teachers these days. I really hope you will reconsider your decision.

south Fulton can not let a teacher go that the kids like a lot. They have to stop running what was a great school into the ground. The school is a joke now. Stop worrying about money and the schools social level. Let the school do what a school should do and teach young kids skills they need in the real world
