I have never used kratom, but I understand that when I realized I had an IV Dilaudid habit and it was costing me money, other people's money who were willing to lend me large amounts of money so I could keep buy Dilaudid 4mg to IV, I would have never gotten there if a doctor did not retire on me when I was on a CodeineContin 200mg every 12 hours regimen nothing else. It was still very painful and I met somebody who had very legit needs for HydromorphContins and Dilaudid, but Hydromorphone orally is not worth it unless you have a script for it.
So I could have detoxed myself with kratom alkaloid extract instead of actually going a step over where the Methadone raised my tolerance a bit and when that caused unacceptable side effects, Suboxone, which caused other kinds of unacceptable side effects. An Extended release morphine detox in a 30 day hospital stay like in Switzerland, Austria and other countries in Europe where this sort of weening one off with an orally used morphine, which is a lot less strong orally, people often fail to recognize the defense.
Had I been offered the compounds in Kratom or Kratom extracts, I would not still be on Suboxone 4 years later. I saw the effect, successful out 2 out of 3 people I know who took their health into their own hands with this miraculous plant that nobody really paid attention for years, why is that? The right people knew it could be used to detox or for pain and even anxiety and was much less addictive than anything a step over codeine. I would be free of the invisible shackles Suboxone put on me, especially in my province which unlike Ontario, does not let any doctor script 30 day supplies of Suboxone, I bet I could have done it this way too. But kratom is not something that deserves the "reefer madness" treatment of the 50's, we are in 2017 and people are much more educated than back then. Keep this plant legal, its extracts too and even the pure 2 ingredients that are in it which have proven themselves to be l
