We here at Greenlife Kratom beleive in Kratom as the wonderful medicinal herb that it is. Although Kratom is currently legal all over Canada we want to take a proactive approach to keeping it legal in Canada for many years to come. With the recent ongoings and controversy in the US surrounding Kratom we believe it would prudent to do what we can in anticipation of any issues down the road concerning its legality in Canada. Let this petition serve as a preemptive strike to get the ball rolling in the right direction. Should there ever be an initiative in the future to make this miraculous medicine illegal in Canada we will have a good head start in the right direction and hopfully have thousands of names on this petition giving us a leg up when we need it most! The feedback I receive from many of you makes it clear how much this plant means to your daily routines. I am spending my nights researching the regulatory landscape so we remain prepared for whatever comes next. It is exhausting work but we cannot afford to wait until they come for our access.

For the last 5 years, I had been suffering from severe depression that kept me in bed for sometimes days at a time. After lots of medication failed to help I tried kratom. Suddenly I found myself loving life and doing the things I love again. Please keep it legal!!
If someone thinks this is harmful, please educate yourself. It works better than any painkiller or antidepressant I've ever had. I don't need sleeping pills either because of Kratom. Plus, it's not expensive like prescription medication. And I don't have any side effects except functionality. So why take that away from people?
I have been diagnosed with severe anxiety, OCD, depression, and ADHD. Since discovering Kratom I have replaced two of my medications which included the highly addictive narcotic lorazepam. I firmly believe in this plant 100% and as of now I'm completely happy with my own mental health.
My doctor had me on morphine for many years for chronic neck pain; that addiction was VERY tough to break, but Kratom has been very helpful both in getting away from the opiates and for occasionally taking a break from the pain. Keep it legal!
Kratom is legal in most of the world with only a few exceptions. We are a progressive country and kratom is the best weapon against the opioid crises. Please don't take it away from me. It's the only thing which helped my depression...

this is a lifesaving, addiction ending related-to-coffee PLANT. anyone who tries to prohibit it is doing so for nothing but profit and greed. shame on our society for selling cigarettes and alcohol to the masses but blocking legitimate medicine.
