Yet you people will be the first to complain that the teachers get another day off and you have to watch your own kids. You are acting like they were walking the halls with the kids and siting in the classrooms! I agree that they could have it at the first aid, fire station or library but you people need to relax and remove the sticks

In a school district where parents are so strictly monitored as visitors, for the safety of the children... it's a bit disheartening to know that strangers are walking the building during a school day, regardless of the cause.

My voting location is behind the high school but where it affects the kids during school hours, it should be moved or school closed.

CBW should be closed when the polls are open at the school. It obviously poses a potentially dangerous situation for the students and staff.

If we as parents cannot enter the school with ease than votes should not be able to as well. In this day and age we need to put safety first. You never know what will cause someone to go over the edge. Either use an alternate facility or close for the day. Our kids come first

There are other locations in town to hold voting that do not involve the public having access to our children.

I used to go there when I was younger. I think no matter what school it is , voting should not be during school when the children are present.

I agree.... no strangers in the building with the kids there. We have had enough school incidents in this country.

I'm very concerned that our schools are open to the public while our children are in school. School should be closed for students or voting should be held where children aren't present.

If we can not remove the polling from the school, we should then close our schools on election days.

School should either be closed or wait until school is out of session. This poses a serious safety issue in mine, and many other parents opinions, and should be taken into serious consideration!

I had no idea that my children were in school while the doors were opened to the public. How is this considered a safe practice in this day and age??? NOT ACCEPTABLE!

My daughter shouldn't have to come home and question why her day at school was different because of election taking place. School is for our children not for random people they don't know voting.

School is a place for education.... not elections! We have our children go to school trusting they are safe but opening the door to the public leaves room for tragedy.
