Since GUSD and Mountain Avenue Elementary has a legal and moral responsibility for protecting the health of our children, we request immediate enactment of the Precautionary Principle regarding wireless technologies (WiFi) in schools. Where Internet access is required, we request it be provided using the safer, current, and faster, cable to facility method (hardwiring).

I was looking at some of the new studies on non-thermal effects late last night and it is just staggering how much is being ignored by the district right now. People keep emailing me their own stories about headaches and I wish someone in the administration would just sit down and actually read the science instead of assuming everything is perfectly fine because it is convenient.

Seeing this kind of movement is honestly spinning my head a little bit because I remember sitting here alone wondering if anyone else felt the same way. It really feels like the tide is turning and people are finally starting to look closely at what is actually happening inside those classrooms.

My son has been getting headaches every single day since they installed these routers. We need to be careful with our kids health instead of just going with the newest tech trend.
Seriously? stop putting this stuff right next to where they sit all day. SO DANGEROUS.

Hardwire it. It is faster and safer anyway. Why take the risk with little kids?
