Petition remove WiFi at Mountain Ave Elementary school. Because wireless technology has not been proven safe, has been labeled a Class 2B carcinogen from the World Health Organization and because published science shows evidence of adverse, non-thermal, biological health effects from wireless radiation, we, the undersigned, submit this petition:
Since GUSD and Mountain Avenue Elementary has a legal and moral responsibility for protecting the health of our children, we request immediate enactment of the Precautionary Principle regarding wireless technologies (WiFi) in schools. Where Internet access is required, we request it be provided using the safer, current, and faster, cable to facility method (hardwiring).
