Kern is the sweetest person ever! One time I lost a tiny little frog magnet and he noticed I was upset about it. I didn't think that he would even consider looking for it, but by some miracle he found it! He also loves sharing food and entertaining stories. Stuy would not be the same without him.

He's always been there for us. I honestly have no idea what I would do without him there to fix anything that was broken. This is honestly not fair at all. KEEP KERN!!!

This doesn't make sense to me, and to a lot of other people, I assume. Kern has demonstrated his ability to maintain the school in its best condition, and take care of technical difficulties that occur, as well as becoming a incredible member of the Stuyvesant community. Working here for 23 years should be proof enough that a trivial exam is unnecessary. What reason is there to fire him?
