I am against these road changes. Kentville needs to work on better traffic flow not restrict it more.

I regularly drive from work in New Minas to bank and do other business related activities. Reducing parking on a busy, business service street is not a good plan. Enough spaces are lost to snow piles (seaonally) or delivery vehicles to make finding a spot on a weekday afternoon a challenge. Please, rethink this plan. The many small businesses and the service providers that support them will not be improved with a downtown bike lane.

I have never heard anything so stupid as this brain storm idea.

Need all the parking we can get! Nightmare for loading trucks and through traffic. Seems very unnecessary.

Though there are many places in Kentville that could do with a bike lane, Webster street is not one of those places. Delivery trucks would block it off, there would be no way for emergency vehicles to get around, and the businesses would suffer.

Webster Street is the wrong place fir the bike lane. Parking is already difficult. Perhaps a better alternative might be closer to the bridge to connect to the trails already in place. I haven’t seen much support for the bike lane on Webster Street. Let’s support our merchants and leave this Street alone.

I think putting a bike lane in downtown Kentville is a bad idea and a waste of money

I don’t feel that Webster Street is a good choice for a bike lane. Webster Street needs two lanes for traffic especially when deliveries are being made. This would be a huge mistake!

I oppose the bike lane and bringing Webster street down to 1 lane.

Why not put a nice walking trail and bike lane all along the river down to West Main? The current proposal is going to make an already hard to get around town, even worse.

So where are the shoppers suppose to park their cars ? How about delivery trucks ? Presently, trucks usually end up stopping with their 4-ways on to make deliveries, trying up one lane of traffic. It takes 2 or more parking spots to squeeze a truck into and that is usually impossible to find.

Have you people lost your minds. Bike lanes that take people out of Kentville without shopping and the shoppers get frustrated without being able to park. Duh! Give your heads a shake.

No thanks, everonevwould be stuck in traffic. How would emergency vehicles get out of the downtown area?

I do not see bikes on Webster, but I do on main. One lane will have a tailback on Main. Nightmare!

Traffic is already congested in downtown Kentville without taking away a lane for vehicles. I would also be concerned about emergency vehicles travelling down this street.

Wrong location for bike lanes. Consider Justice Way not Webster.

I think the $200, 000 dollars would be better spent on fixing the roads, instead of a bike lane.
