This is one of many but the most erroneous decisions LSBU has made recently to save money after dismal financial directions have left them with 'Bad Debt', and now being taken out on the loyal and hardworking staff.
Katie is exemplary and should be an example of the employees you do want working in education. She is award winning and is thought highly throughout the university and beyond. Graduates we meet on placement mention her with respect. Personally, her methods of teaching make what can be a difficult subject to grasp easier and she is never patronising. It is not only damaging to the morale of the students and staff that this decision has been made, but also weakens the reputation and standing of the university.

I can’t imagine anyone studying Diagnostic Radiography at LSBU and not being taught by Katie, we had the opportunity to have her as our first year lecturer and I don’t see anyone that could teach her module better than her

Medical imaging will not be the same, we need her to stay !!!!

Katie is the best lecturer at the LSBU, so experienced and organised. She is the greatest advocate for students and her colleagues. She is irreplaceable.

She’s an amazing tutor, she really care for all of us her students and wants the best for us. She can never be replaced therefore us her students want and need her to stay
