Keep Mr.Kastner! Many people love him for all the hard work and time he put into his band and he doesn't deserve to leave. He is not only a great teacher, he knows how to dedicate his students to be better in what they can do best.

As a NAHS band alum, I know the importance of not only a good band director but one that can bond with the students and grow the program. By moving the band directors around, you run the risk of kids loosing interest or quitting out of protest and thus downsizing the music program. I am greatly impressed with how the music program has grown and achieved so much over the last 15 years. Keep Mr.Kastner.

Our music department at the high school is clear to be Mr. kastner's life. He lives and breathes for this and taking him away from the students and talents that he takes so much pride in is very wrong. He should be able to stay and teach the students he loves. He has done an amazing job every single year, there is no reason to take it away now.

kastner was the best teacher I've ever had he loves his job and the kids he teaches, he was there for me as an educational aid to music and as guidance through difficult times, keep him at the high school, that's his home away from home

This mans influence on music education is unlike any other. He is a determined individual who is always working to get the best out of our students. Removing Christopher Kastner from the NAHS Music Program will break the solidarity of both musicianship and trust within this music program.

This is one of the few bands that cares more about music then anything else. That's an approach pushed by a director. I hope he stays.

Most influential teacher I've ever had in my 24 years. Understood our age group in high school and could communicate with us on a level that no other teacher in that school could dream of.

I may not be in the NAHS Band, but I had the pleasure of meeting all of them at a football game last year as a member of the "rival" marching band. If these kids are any indication, Mr. Kastner is an exceptional teacher who ha taught his students not only how to do what they love but do by strong, independent, and kind human beings. As a marching band member of 3 years, I have never met a band full of more compassionate and outgoing individuals who truly love what they do. Therefore, I am gladly signing this petition to insure that the only changes made to this band are positive.

Was never in band, never had him as a teacher, but I used to say what's up in the hallways.
