I was a teenager during this time at Aynor High. When this happened to Crystal it changed all of our lives. We were kept close to home and no one was trusted. This horrible senseless crime changed both small towns forever. It’s destroyed lives, broken hearts and made parents less trusting. I met Miss Bonnie Faye and she was so sweet, but you could see how broken she was after losing her baby girl. Please keep this monster in prison so that another family isn’t destroyed by losing their daughter, cousin, granddaughter, niece, or just a friend.

This man, Ken Register, slaughtered this beautiful young woman- who was his friend.
Then he had the gall to be a pall bearer at her funeral.
He can never be trusted outside of prison walls.
I worked at the court house, and saw Crystal’s mother, Bonnie Faye Todd, come and look in the civil case file, year after year. She was slowing dying from grief.
This murder terrorized the whole of Horry County - and this monster must be kept in jail.
For the safety of girls and women everywhere- please keep this monster in jail.
