This monster, Ken Register must never be released from prison.
The fact he was the pallbearer at Crystal's funeral, and comforted her mother, Bonnie Faye Todd all the while knowing he was the killer.
This proves he can mimic human emotions like grief and empathy without actually feeling them. If he can lie to a grieving mother’s face, he can easily lie to a Parole Board.
Driven by sexual sadism Register stabbed Crystal Faye Todd nearly 30 times, slashed her throat ear-to-ear, disemboweled her and then anally raped her.
Sadists don't just kill; they seek to degrade and destroy. Forensic experts argue that this internal drive doesn't go away with age; it is a permanent part of the offender's "blueprint."
He avoided public apologies and blamed his actions on Crystal.
Without genuine remorse, there is no change in someone's character. He lived a double life as a "star athlete/churchgoer" hiding his true drive as a "sadistic predator." He is highly skilled at appearing "rehabilitated" in a structured environment like prison, but he will revert to his true nature when he thinks no one is watching.
