Too much real estate for the number of students? Is this why there are 40+ children in some classrooms? Because you have TOO much room?

This school is not that old. It was built in 1977. I attended this school from grade 4 through grade 9 and made many lifelong friends. The school has been recently upgraded with a new playground for the kids and has an amazing gymnasium. The historical signifance of it's name is reason enough to keep this school going.

sickening is all i can say about this. clearly the politics surrounding this situation make no sense just like the all the other decisions the school board and government make. If they continously take and take, we will have nothing left

JBC was a huge part of my childhood and development of the person I became, closing this school would be a mistake. Their is a lot of children from new Aberdeen and sourounding areas to keep jbc open and that would have to relocate.

After retiring from teaching, I substituted for a few years. I loved getting called to JBC. It was my favorite school. Great , polite kids, wonderfully warm and caring staff and dedicated volunteers.JBC has a very homey atmosphere. It would be a great loss to the comminity. JBC is also a lovely building. Keep it open and honor the community and John Bernard Croak V.C., himself !!!!!
smaller schools are the best!! The kids get more help!!!
