Keep JMC Pre-K at Nova!

We need this safer environment for our most vulnerable children. If the staff loves Nova better, listen! They are the experts!!

I am asking that Whitehall PreK Center remain at Nova.

As a former employee of the Jackson Madison School System at Whitehall Elementary, I fully support this staff remaining at Nova, where the all can thrive in a much healthier and safer environment.

Nova is such a nice environment. The classrooms are large. We had a few bad experiences of people drinking on the street, and my kids found used drug parafernalia on the ground during our walk from the school to our car. They don't need to be exposed to this.

I am a concerned citizen of Madison County. My granddaughter was a student in the Special Education Pre-K and I was concerned at the sheer numbers of students that were packed into the building at Whitehall. Please keep this program at Nova--not only do the children deserve it, but the teachers and staff do as well.

Nova is a much better location and setting for pre-k special needs students to learn and excell

I previously worked at Whitehall and I know first hand that this great educational asset to JMCSS needs a new school that is in proper functioning condition for its students. Some of the students have special needs and health issues that do not need to be in an environment such as Whitehall. The building is old, piled up dust is everywhere and I am sure mold could be found in some places. These teachers and students deserve nothing more than to be at a nicer school due to their previous environment in my opinion being unsafe.

Do the right thing for the children. Leave them at Nova where they can get the best education possible!

My child attended Whitehall Pre-k a couple of years ago. We loved the program, but hated the location and lack of space. We had a wonderful teacher and assistant and feel that the program was and is top notch. Please allow them to have the space they so need and deserve. This is the very beginning of a child's love for education. Please help them stay in the space that is working so much better for them to make that important first impression.

Keep the Whitehall Pre-K program at Nova. It is the best location for the program for the children and teachers.

I implore you to keep pre-k classes at Nova where they have abundant room to play and explore the outside world, receive therapies in an appropriate setting, not in a storage closet, and where there are portable classrooms available to us as our classes grow. There is ample parking space for staff, parents, and buses. We need your support! Please share in our vision to create a 21st century preschool to give our youngest learners a head start!

I am VPK teacher at Nova. I have been a public education teacher in the state of Tennessee for 40 years. Teaching prekindergarten has been my JOY for the last 8 years. Nova building and grounds provides our precious children with an environment inside and outside that is SO IDEAL for them to succeed and learn. Please help us stay at Nova !!! Come see what miracles are happening daily in our classrooms as well as in every aspect of our prek program. Our children deserves the VERY BEST!!!

The Nova location best meets the needs of our PK programs. We need room to grow and space to meet the needs of all our students.
