clarkson hosts the best entertainment show on tv, along with richard hammond and james may. they push the boundarys and have novel ideas, most other so called entertainment shows are reality crap with either arrogant wannabe's or second rate celebrities. Long live Top Gear

The probably very well paid person who needs to be dismissed is the person who was entrusted but let down the bbc team in his failure to be responsible for the feeding of a probably very weary hungry bbc team of many people. Mr Clarkson has merely had the courage to say so on behalf of all of the bbc's team. Who should they consider to be the most loyal and dedicated to continuity of the bbc's team work. Personally I would also enquire as to how or why any person who may not be reliable and dependable can achieve such an important position of superiority over a bbc team, if his heart was part of and wholly in the team he would have kept his council for the good of the team. Hope I've shown a wake up call for the govner/s ! Hugs to all who love the sight smell and feel of a good engine with wheels to match. by a former student of rallye racing

Jeremy Clarkson says what he feels and I think what he has to say is wise, no messing about talk. I feel if I new him I would know where I stood .And I like that, straight talk . People these days are being to posh and not human, always trying to be someone else . I think that's something we are losing in the world, the right to be yourself.

Iv don't like Jeremy Clarkson or Top Gear, but I positively loathe the thought-control that is being imposed on us all. I also think that what a man does, when drunk, out of working hours, is not good cause for dismissal from their job, however stupid they may have been. Unless it is a case of serious assault.

Wouldn't be the same without clarkson. I think with him no body can take his straight talk who don't mince with his words they call that the raw uncovered truth with nothing to hide . People should be free to say what they think.

Talent of his ability does NOT come often. He is a great asset to the BBC. A simple apology would settle the matter.
