I would like to have Japanese as one of the A- level subjects.
It is a very special language and it should not be removed.
Please keep Japanese A level !!

Japanese a level is essential as it is the only way to understand Japanese culture which is so different from yours, but so important to know our history and culture. It is true ,of course, the other way around.

Providing a variety of choice of languages to learn is important. Hope government will reconsider their plan.

I have two boys that will be taking the GCSE Japanese and then A-level. They are both working hard towards this and it would great if they could receive a a recognised qualification that will help them in the future.

I believe there's more and more younger people interested in Japan and its culture these days in UK and to keep the opportunity to identify their progress is not only beneficial for the Japanese but also for those who have no Japanese family background.

Keep Japanese as a GSCE and A level subject!
So called "small entry" languages are key to cultural and economic dynamism!
Pupils with the desire to learn Japanese and invest the effort should definitely be given the opportunity and recognition.
Additionally, it makes a lot of sense to learn Japanese at a young age.
Don't be short sighted; don't deplete the language skill pool.
Please do keep the Japanese GCSE and A level qualifications!
