Ms Janie is the most inspirational teacher my children have ever had. They loved her & as a consequence loved art lessons. After leaving Indonesia last year they still talk about her, & I'm sure will remember her for years to come. Ms Janie's organisation & participation in extra curricular activities is also above & beyond & helps to make the beautiful spirit & community feeling at AIS.

Inconceivable that Janie leave - AIS Kemang would be a shadow of its former self. Heaven and earth must be moved to find a way around this apparent block!!!!!!

Janie is a master art teacher and wonderful role model for the students. She embodies the value of living a creative life. Her contributions to the AIS community are widespread, physically with the amazing projects and murals that decorate the campus, emotionally in the engagement the children have with her, and more concretely, in the extra-curricular events she plans for the school. She is unique and irreplaceable.

We were taking our son on a look see of a few schools before our move to Jakarta, from the moment we entered the school we were hit with the colour and fun look of the school, part of our tour was to the art room where we met Janie, my very shy 6yr old had a great talk with her and before we even got to the next school on our list he said "i am going to that school " Janie makes sure everyone feels like an important member of the school community. We can not lose her!

We chose AIS for our boys after meeting Janie during our tour. As soon as we walked into her room, saw the murals around campus, and learned about the numerous functions she helped to create, we knew AIS was for us! Please keep Janie!!!
