As all parents know, Ms. Janie Strahle adds color and light to the fabric which makes our beloved AIS and the school would not be the same without her. Unfortunately, due to Indonesian regulations, she must retire by the end of this school year UNLESS action is taken by the school, the board, and YOU. Ms. Janie and AIS leadership are doing their part but this petition calls on all of you to lend your support to keeping Ms. Janie teaching and brightening the minds of our children for years to come.

ive been talking with a few folks on the board and they are definitely starting to notice the momentum here. its moving behind the scenes but the pressure is definitely helping so thanks for sticking with me while we figure out the next steps.

the support for janie has been totally overwhelming in the best way possible. seeing everyone rally behind her shows exactly how much she means to our kids and the school community.

My daughter loves Ms. Janie and would be devastated to know that she would be leaving. Ms. Janie has helped to develop her creativity and love of all things artistic and we are incredibly grateful for that. If AIS let her go, it will be their loss and that of the students.
It is without a doubt that Ms Janie's experience, repoire and belief in eduction and the importance of relationships between students, staff, parents and wider community is an invaluable asset to this school.
i cant imagine AIS Kemang with out Ms Janie, Wonderful teacher, mother and a friend to all my kids... She got her positive energy that flows around our kampus with her wonderful Art work on display .. ... She is fit and energetic to teach our kids for 10+ years ahead.
Miss Janie remains one of the highlights of my kid's time at AIS. In fact, the artwork of her students was the very first thing we noticed while selecting a school for them. Some of that art still adorns our walls even though we live half a world away. Miss Janie must stay.
We chose AIS for our boys after meeting Janie during our tour. As soon as we walked into her room, saw the murals around campus, and learned about the numerous functions she helped to create, we knew AIS was for us! Please keep Janie!!!

Ms Janie has played an integral part in my son's early childhood development. Ms Janie brought out the artistic aspect of him where he has begun to express his feelings through his drawings. Ms Janie is truly an inspirational teacher that has certainly left a positive impact on my son, Ryuji.
