We, the undersigned, are concerned residents of Homer Alaska. We urge the Homer city council not to adopt or create any type of ordinance or law that may restrict or prohibit motorized vehicle access to any of the beaches in Homer Alaska.

I heat with coal and wood to be able to collect coal we have to be able to drive on the beach its not right to be punish because of others disrespect.... I need a warm house for my little children..
I fully support the beaches staying open and accessible. I lost my son at bishops and love going there to visit him. I want to be able to continue this practice for all of my life. And dispite the fact that I've spent so much time there, I've never seen drug use or paraphernalia there. Nobody calls it drug each either.
Having vehicle accessible beaches is a major recreational asset to Homer and a major resource to most residents. Restriction of this asset will only lessen the uniqueness of Homer and have negative impact on most Homer residents' way of life.
I was born in this town 41 years ago and have been using those beaches a good portion of those years- punishing the many makes no sense, find a way to deal with the few that are causing the problems.
My family has been using tractors and trucks to get coal from Bishop's Beach for over 70 years. Do not change historical use and lose another access right in Homer. Thank you.
Leave the beach FREE. The City of HOMER does not own the beach. The BEACH is public land.
I see no major benefit from this... Instead added restriction and access will add lawbreakers to the list of people that visit the beach.

I have been riding on Homer beaches for over 50 years. I have 20 acres on the beach with only beach access. We picked coal in the 80 and now ride 4wheelers. I couldn't reach my property by walking up the beach and make it back in one tide. I go with my kids and grandkids and have a fun family day. Please don't take our access away.
