We, the citizens of the City of Loyalton, California, County of Sierra, petition the Sierra County Planning Commission, Sierra County Dept. of Planning & Building, and the Loyalton City Counsel to grant a conditional use permit to Loyalton Mobile Home Park, LLC which would allow Hennessy House Flag Pole Shop to continue doing business at the former storage facility and/or restaurant building located at the north end of the property at the intersection of Highway 49 & Hill St. We believe Hennessy House's is a unique enterprise whose national and international sales of handmade wooden flag poles have the potential to bring recognition and improve the reputation of both the County and City, provide additional revenue to both, encourage other artisans to locate their operations here. We also believe that having Hennessy House along Highway 49 will attract & invite tourists to investigate this unique business, which will showcase the County & City to great advantage.
