It's nice of the treasury to want to get a woman on a bill soonest, but we can wait for the treasury to redo the $20 bill.

He was a great contributor to this nation, re: the first Secretary of the Treasury, He contributed much to this country especially at a time when the US could have gone bankrupt from the war. Perhaps he should be on the $20.00 and put a woman on the $10.00 bill.

Jackson was a notorious figure for Afro-Americans & Native Americans. Boot Jackson & keep Hamilton. For fellow feminists, there is an irony of removing Hamilton when we now know of his same-sex love: http://rictornorton.co.uk/hamilton.htm

Hamilton deserves to stay on the $10 bill, since he was the first and the best Treasurer. Replace Jackson on the $20, if you need a vehicle for idiotic diversity and "identity poliitics" reasons. See, for example, https://www.theobjectivestandard.com/2015/07/the-u-s-treasurys-unjust-debasement-of-alexander-hamilton/ for additional reasons.

Please keep Hamilton on the $10 bill. Why are you replacing the first Treasury of the U.S. and the man who started the Bank of America. If you need to replace someone, why not Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill. He broke the banks.

Don't replace the man who created our banking and financial system. Instead, replace the unrepentant racist/slaveholder Jackson--who tried to destroy the banks and who loathed the idea of paper money!

Hamilton was a hero during the fight for independence. He was the first secretary of the Treasury while Andrew Jackson was an egomaniacal, slave owning, murderer of indigenous peoples who defied the Supreme Court. He fought duels, threatened, beat and whipped those who disagreed with him. He was a miserable scoundrel and should be removed. Replace this misery with Eleanor Roosevelt whose life was filled with loss and suffering yet she rose to become a woman values, respected, admired and loved throughout this country and the world, not because of who she married, but because of who she was and what she did and stood for.

Alexander Hamilton should remain on the $10 bill by himself as he was such an important part of our history, especially fiscally and giving us a monetary system we still use to keep this country going. A woman should be on the $20 bill as she has made so many contributions to our history and Andrew Jackson showed hatred and bigotry and lack of humanity so he should be removed.
