This is an amazing school and area. The environment is very welcoming. I rather drive further now just to have my children in a much safer place. If there is a school that needs help and needs to be closed I would suggest Jonosboro. The staff is horrible and my child was hit in the head in the playground with a huge rock and bled soo much the ambulance had to come. That shows the staff was not paying attention.

Please keep this school open. I used to go to this school as a little girl and now my daughter has the opportunity to go. They have amazing teachers who really care about the students.

Closing this school would be devastating to the students who attend, the parents who rely on the school to educate their children, and the factuality and staff. If we don’t have Greenwood we have no school in the community for our kids to attend.

I spent my elementary school years at this school. Wonderful memories and friends were made that I am still in contact with today. Please do not close this school down.

I am a preschool owner/ director. All three of my adult children have attended Greenwood. Now my granddaughter is enrolled! Greenwood is one of the best elementary schools we have! It would be a terrible disservice to the community if this school is closed!!!

As a former student of this school, I attended from K-8 many years ago. I have so many wonderful memories there. Secondly, as a lifelong resident of Greenwood, this school has been a historical staple in the community. The BOE has always given this school the shaft. To close this school and to leave it to rot cannot be your option. I highly object. The children of this school deserve better and the lack of transparency from the BOE is absolutely terrible. We all demand better and more.
